The Best Apps: How To Celebrate When You Can't Be There

Do you have friends who live all over like me? Not all of my friends live in San Francisco and I can't always show them how much I love them over the phone or by texting. I love giving gifts and I have some apps that are my go-to's to send a little love to my gal pals. About Me

Hey everyone! First off, I want to thank you for visiting my blog. I am enthusiastic about clean eating and fitness and absolutely love sharing my ideas and things I have learned over time.

I graduated from California State University, Fullerton majoring in Kinesiology: focusing on fitness and health promotion. I now work in Corporate Wellness and have fallen in love with the way it is giving me the outlet to help others, but also help to shape me as a well-rounded person.

A little about me: For as long as I can remember I have always been a competitive athlete. I defined myself as a soccer player, a volleyball player, and a runner. Over time I realized that I enjoyed myself more when I was active and on-the-go.

Once college came along, I lost myself for a little bit. I was an injured athlete who got caught up in the college norms:eating junk food, late night partying, and sleeping in way too late. I lost myself for quite some time. I was no longer the happy-go-lucky girl my friends and family knew me as. One day I woke up, and decided I didn't like the person I was becoming. I wasn't living my life to the fullest, I had gained a lot of weight, and hadn't been living my life with any passion or path.

I decided to whip my life in to shape. I decided to hit the gym hard, eat healthy, cut back on going out, and making the best out of each day. This was not as easy as it sounds.With many ups and downs I realized that although each day was a battle (making it to the gym and eating right), I was waking up with more and more drive. I was becoming this happy person I didn't know I would be able to find again. I lost the weight I wanted to, but the most amazing outcome was the fact that I found out so much about myself.

I forced myself to cook all my meals (5-6 a day) and by doing so found that I LOVE to cook. I absolutely enjoy everything about trying new recipes, being around good people in the kitchen, and of course EATING:)

In the last few years since my life kind of took a turn, I have noticed many people (mostly women) asking for my advice. Asking for recipes, workouts, meal plans etc. This is why I am creating a blog. I LOVE talking about all these things, and it would be my pleasure to help others along their personal journeys to get healthy and feel great!
