Workout of The Day: Total Body Circuit

Are you in need of a good butt kicking? I just got a good sweat in and I think you should TRY THIS ONE.

10 pushups 10 sit ups 5 rounds
10 pull ups 10 box jumps 5 rounds
10 squats 10 double unders 5 rounds
10 shoulder press 10 burpees 5 rounds
1 mile run
500 meter row

Workout Of The Day: Thea's Weekend Countdown

It is almost the weekend, and that means we have to hit it hard at the end of this week. Time to get in a super intense circuit. This one gets the heart pumping, and you will definitely leave the gym feeling great!

 Thea's Weekend Countdown:
60 seconds mountain climbers
50 second burpee ball slam
40 seconds squat
30 seconds pushup
20 seconds kettle bell swing (or kettle bell wide leg squat pictured)
10 seconds box jumps
REST, THEN REPEAT!

Styling: Summer Wardrobe Must Haves

I often get asked what my go-to items in my closet are, and I quickly realized how completely different each season is. As summer apporoaches I definitely have been pulling some looks more frequently than others. Here are some of my must-haves this summer.

1. A fun hat: During the day you can throw this to accessorize, to block the sun, or to just top off your outfit (pun!).


2. Slinky sandals: Slinky sandals can take any outfit from day, to a dressier day look, to a night look in seconds!

3. Short shorts: The look this summer is ripped off, cut up, and barely there! You can purchase them all over, or hit up your local thrift store and make your own!

4. Gold bling: We all love a good tan in the summer, and gold jewlery makes your tan POP. I love dainty gold rings and bracelets during the day and chunkier gold bangles at night!


5. A fun wallet/clutch: I know I am not the only one on the go during the summer months, why not make it easy to leave the house with a wallet. No need to lug around a big purse in the heat, stay fashion forward with a big bright wallet!

Morning Greens: Smoothie Time

With the warmer weather I have been craving refreshing fruity drinks. I decided make a fruity recipe and add greens for an extra boost of nutrients! Try this recipe, or get creative and make your own!

Ingredients:
4 Large strawberries
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp flaxseed
1 shot wheatgrass (or spirulina powder)
1 scoop protein powder (my favorite Dale's Protein Powder)

Directions:

1. In your Vitamix or Nutribullet blend all ingredients!

Simple, and delicious.

Do you want to workout when traveling, or when you don't quite have enough time to make it to the gym? Well I have a quick, and tough workout for you. 

10 squats

Perform each exercise then move to the next. Complete 10 rounds of these exercises as fast as you can!
